We have two of these genuine pine church pews. Unusual simple design, plain with lovely wide pine planks. Much more comfortable than the average pew. We can either just wax over to tidy the surface up a little or completely strip, restore and wax if you prefer a pale pine. Approx 74"L x 40 and 3/4"H. The depth is 19 and 1/2" from front of seat to back of the shelf that runs along the back of the pew - we could reduce the depth by about an inch by trimming the back shelf if required.

SET OF EIGHT late Victorian oak dining chairs. Good original castors on front legs (this style would never have had any on back legs). Currently has a black "leatherette" upholstery in very tidy condition. Photo below shows more detail of the carving on back and ears. Very comfortable. If you re-cover then some could benefit from the springs re-setting whilst cover is off - but they are perfectly usable as they are. Generally in extremely good condition for age. There is a little damage to the stretchers under just one chair - probably a pet! Great price for a set of eight chairs.

Pine longcase clock, 1800's, Beringer & Schwerer of Redruth, Cornwall. In very nice condition and working order. Original painted face features flowers and scene of a huntsman by a river. The piece of wood under the leg is only because our floor is very uneven and clocks need to be level. Approx 82" high.

Edwardian pitch pine drapers table with inset brass measure / rule. More photos below. Two drawers and a flap at each to extend the working length of the table. 49 and 1/2" L (just under 6 foot with flaps up) x 30 and 1/4"H x 29 and 1/4" depth back to front. Please note that the deep drawers prevent you from sitting with your knees under the front of this table.

Circa 1900 large bookcase with sliding doors. This is not pine but what is usually called satin walnut, quite pale. 69 and 1/2"W x 44"H x 17 and 1/2"D (all including overhang of top). Internal measurement of shelf is approx 11" front to back. Because this wood is a slightly unusual colour, unless you are familiar with it, we would prefer you to visit this piece before buying as it isn't quite the same as pine.

Has a dedication brass plaque to a member of the congregation which has the date 1941 so that may well be the date it was made although it has an older look and feel.
